HI, I can`t offer any suggestions regarding the luggage racks but you certainly see lots of them on Volvo wagons so they must be reasonably efficient.
I travel from time to time & usually try to rent a Volvo @ the airport but at times, there are just none available. My last trip I had to take a Chrysler Sebring & believe me, that car was the biggest POS I`ve ever driven. So I pose the question; why would you rent a van made by one of the Big 3 when you are apparently very happy driving your Volvo wagon. I only drove the Chrysler for 5 days & just in an urban environment & I could not wait to get home & behind the wheel of my Volvo wagon.
