hood wont close 850

Wondering... There are two rubber bumper stops, one on each side of hood on the edges. Are these screwed all of the way in? Try taking them out if the hood latch pins are not reaching the latches.
It sure is hard to help, not knowing where the hood is not fitting. Are the latch pins not lining up to the two latches? Are the latches too far down on the fenders?
