Misfires usually are ignition related - such as a bad wire or coil. BUT - the misfire code is triggered by anything causing an uneven rotation of the engine - detected via the crankshaft position sensor. That means another problem such as a sticking fuel injector could also be the cause.

Are there symptoms you can detect? Rough idle, bad fuel economy, etc?
