Yes, it's been changed...you're SUPPOSED to buy the tube it goes in but I didn't with my '98 S70. I went to the parts counter with my dipstick (I just took it out in the parking lot) and asked to see their '97 and '96 850 dip sticks. The '97 matched up with mine perfectly (even the same numbers on it) so I bought it and avoided the scam.
