Hi,
My wifes` 95 850 wagon has 245K on it & still going strong. She is a daily 100 mile commuter so the car see alot of hiway miles. Very regular oil changes & the usual routine maintenance seems to keep this brick on the road. A few years ago we did go what seemed to a very frustrating period but that was more the local dealership than the car itself needing repairs. Many of you who have dealt with dealers wiil know what I`m talking about: misdiagnosed problems, work not completed properly.............. & it`s all on your dime! WE have since found a local indie who is working out fine.
WE both love the 850; I`ve been driving Volvo`s for 30+ years(my wife for 15 yrs.), our kids drive Volvo`s so we represent " brand loyalty", some on this forum would call it chronic stupidity. Our next car will be a Volvo!!
