98 V70 wagon maintenance V70-XC70 1998

Really every 30K are biggies....so at 180K you should have had a big one. You should check to see what your dealer did then. The 195 (15K later than the 180) is not so significant usually....all filters, oil, checks on the coolant, maybe brake fluid flush and lubing all hinges. But, depends on what they really did at 180K. In regards to brakes, check this out: www.volvospeed.com and click on maintenance/repairs and then enter Bay13. You'll find plenty there....read through the first thread on general maintenance and then go from there.

You're due for a Timing Belt at 210K if it was done on time (every 70K miiles). If it wasn't and you're behind, you should do it ASAP.

An after thought, but important: You need to get all of your dealer's service records and have them on hand. You should know for instance when the last time the dealer flushed your transmission fluid. Every 30K miles it should be done, esp. with the age of your car.
