Could be serious. Pay a dealer to do a "once over" pre-purchase inspection, including that light if you're serious about buying this car (which, it being an S80 and a '99 I would strongly suggest you not)...couldn't cost more than $50 or so. They will probably be glad to do it for you if they think they'll have you as a customer.
