850 Transmission Code 850 1993

Reecently I had a rash of episodes where the transmission on my '93 850 went into "safe mode" (3rd and 4th gear ops with the flashing yellow arrow.) Everything indicated a PNP switch which I replaced and adjusted with the Volvo tool.

I am getting occasional repeats with a single 2-2-2 code. Could someone help me gain insight as to what the problem is? (The codes thrown before the PNP switch replacement were 3-1-3, 2-2-2, and 1-1-4.)

Well, I have two less codes, I hope this is progress!!
