Haven't done a carpet replacement on any of my cars but have read where others have dyed their carpets with good results. Also, decent mats help. Taking the entire carpet out and replacing them would be a huge PITA and it would be hard to find the carpet in good shape anyway...doubt you'll find them new for your car...and used tend to be in pretty bad shape anyway, unless you find someone who really took good care of their car and it was totalled and they're parting it out. If you still want to replace the carpet you might post a question on the "wanted" section of the www.volvospeed.com message board as well as reading the "for sale" section and see who might be parting out their 850.
