Gauges don't work 850 1997

I need some help! In my 1997 850T-5 I do not have any speedmeter, odometer, gas gauge, tachometer or anything in the info center. My wife took it to the dealership and they checked it out and said that the printed circuit board is bad and needs to be replaced. Only $600 for the part! Has anyone heard of this part or had this problem?
