Cool! Glad you got it done and the axle seems fine.
I too had posted about a week ago that I had an axle problem (bust boot) and had my CV boots on the left axle replaced for an amazing $50 labor! I was so excited. However, I should add that the axle was still vibrating at high speeds. My lesson learned was that if there is any vibration at all in the axle, no matter how much you clean it, pack grease in it and seal, even if the job is done right, you won't get rid of the vibration if it's there to begin with. Since I had read of the cheap axle from groton which others had problems with, I called Raxles. I got the replacement axle yesterday (with return label), had the new axle put in today and sent the core back today too. My mechanic charged me $25 for his labor and even at high speeds she's as smooth as can be again!
