checking tranny fluid 850 1995

The tranny fluid is checked with the car running...at least 15 mins idle for "cold" and a drive for at least 20 mins or so for "hot." Shift through all the gears leaving in each one for 5 seconds with foot on brake before shifting into "P" before pulling the dipstick to check.
