transmission arrow light 850

I was pulling away from a drive through yesterday and noticed that my 850 didn't want to go. The engine would rev up, but the car moved forward very slowly. The shift arrow on the dash came on and the lights on the sport/econ switch went out. I had to manually shift down to L gear to make it drive normally. When I stopped again, I shifted to park, then back to drive and the arrow light went out. It shifted fine after that. Any ideas?
