Thanks for your reply, MIJ. I disconnected the MAF connector and no stalling! Gotta love this forum. I've read that cleaning the connectors might rejuvenate the unit. Would WD40 do okay for this? I also have some dielectric grease. And it would be cleaning the connectors on the outside of the unit, not inside the air box, right? i.e., I don't have to take the MAF out, do I? Would you bother cleaning the sensor by disconnecting the unit from the box?
And how long can one drive around with the MAF disconnected before ruining plugs, etc.?
