Pulling brakes 850 1997

I would have the alignment and all suspension parts (ball joints, strut mounts, tierod ends, etc) reverified by a 2nd shop - or check them yourself, especially since the car doesn't track straight (I assume you meant with your foot off the brake pedal).

Also is any wheel hot (stuck caliper), and/or is there any road noise (binding wheel bearing)?

I think just because the pull is related to braking it doesn't automatically mean the brakes are at fault.
