215/65/16 tires are 27.0 inches tall. 215/55/16 tires are 25.3 inches tall. 205/55/16 tires are 24.9 inches tall. 195/65/15 tires are 24.98 inches tall.
The tires you've been looking at are the tallest by far. I'm presently running 205/65/15 snows (that I bought used) that are 25.49 inches tall, or just a bit more than your regular tires. They work fine.
As I said, narrow is good with winter tires, but only to a point. I had 185/65/15 Goodyear Ultra Grip Ice tires on a Volvo 740 in the past, and while snow traction was extremely good, they squealed and locked up easily on dry pavement. I think the car was just a bit too heavy for them. Since the turbo wagon has a bit more weight, I would lean toward the 205/65/15s for your car as they would be closest to the correct height.
