remote door locks 850 1994

I had this problem on a 1995 850 tubo wagon. The problem was traced to the tailgate lock not engaging/disengaging fully. It seemed to be stuck in the middle between lock and unlock. Try manually unlocking all exterior locks with the key. Both front doors and tailgate or trunk. Then retry the remote. If your problem matches mine, you may find that the remote works again.

I solved my problem by removing the tailgate lock and lubricating with a spray lubricant until the locks would work smoothly with the remote.
