Yep, definitly a rip! My dealer replaced mine for the cost of the bulb, so it wasn't so bad. Except the "mechanic" left wires hanging under the console and dislodged the rear curtesy light. So I had to back in and fix it.
Check the back of the car's manual where it lists all of the light bulbs on the same page. It will give specs which may make it easier to shop at an auto parts store.
