Front hub/bearing replacement V70-XC70 1998

1. When I replaced mine, it sounded like noisy tires that did vary with speed.
2. I applied the "metal adhesive" (i.e. locktight)but I do not know how critical this step is.
3. I used the third party variety which cost about $150.
4. Good time to change the rotors if you need them; good oportunity to inspect boots.
5. I do not know.
