I'm hoping that someone can help me. My dash board lit up like a Christmas tree recently - check engine, abs, tracs - and I removed the abs contol unit and sent it to Victor Rocha in Calif for testing. He's as good as everyone says. He tested my unit and found that it was working fine, but did note that the abs control unit appeared to have been replaced in 2003-04. We bought the car used in 2003. There was a trouble code, but it was erased when he tested my control unit. Victor suggests looking elsewhewre within the abs system for the problem. I'm going to have him upgrade my abs control unit anyways to avoid future problems, but does anyone have any idea what else can cause the dash to light up and the abs system to fail. I am hoping to avoid unneceassry repairs at the dealership. Thanks. By the way, I have had the standard braking system checked and it is working fine.
