Please tell me that you did not bring it to a dealer. If you did, find another dealer real soon. The only light on the dash that comes on regularly is the "service engine" light, which indicates time for an oil change. No other light or message will come on because of milage or time.

The air flow meter is at the air cleaner. Unplug it and using an old tooth brush, clean it so it shines. Then plug it back together. Also check for any air leaks between the air cleaner and the throttle body.
