Torque specs and replacement of bolts and fasteners - suspension

I think Haynes is trying to keep law suits to a minimum and has done a bit of overkill on this one. The same reason that the battery is disconnected every time the hood is raised :)
These bolts should be cleaned of rust before reusing. Period. Unless, of course, they were taken off by an air hammer, which is unlikely. The torque values are not high enough to stress the bolts, so I wouldn't worry.
