AJ,

I just replaced one of mine, with a new unit from FCPGroton.com. dealer wanted $450 I think per axle, but at FCP it was only $120 (new). Mine is a 2000 with the same bolt you mention. I broke mine off when re-installing but managed to get it out without messing anything up. The job itself was not that difficult, but you may want to buy a new bolt/washer to retain the axle in the hub instead of using the old one.
