Wipers 850 1995

The wiper arm itself is made of a soft material and the bore where it fits on to the wiper drive shaft wears and expands with use. The arm then does not lay down close enough to the windshield. Many people bend the wiper arm to improve the contact but this only works for a while. I bought a new wiper arm for about $60 from the dealer and the blade now stays in place all the time.
