Discovered unattached vacuum line...where does it go? 850 1997

Hello again,

Make sure that there are no other nipples back there. I replaced the hose on my wife's 850 and had to cap off a few extra holes (Volvo made a one-for-all hose as a new part and it is therefore necessary to cap off the unused ports). This is true of the replacement parts, but the original fresh air hose should have no extra holes. Anyway, the one that I had to cap on her car is beside the PCV nipple, not part of it. The hole that you need is actually part of the PCV nipple also (can be confusing I guess). If it's dosconnected, you won't have a vacuum source for the PCV system, as that hose is where the system receives it's vacuum. As I said before, any more questions let me know.
