2000 S-80 rough idle S80 2000

I had the software upgrade to the ECM done 2 years ago and it fixed some hesitation problems but now the rough idle kinda popped up and I think it may be a coil pack. The car runs smooth otherwise but at idle it feels like a diesel. Anybody know how to test a coil pack b/f i get some that maybe i don't need?
