Klaus:
I'm thinking these cars are going the same direction as cell phones: all kinds of data messaging, picture taking, picture e-mailing etc. What was wrong with using it to make a call? The thought intrigues me: Wonder what kind of cell phone I could get for the same money, but none of the add-on gadgets? Greater dependability? Longer battery life?

The same kind of question might arise re cars.
