9550 window down--getting it up! 850

You did not have to remove the switch parts. My rear right window went stuck in the low position last week. It's close to 40 deg C right now in Dubai, and I needed it up again quickly to run the A/C. I looked up this excellent post: http://www.matthewsvolvosite.com/window_switch_replace.php
I used a blade to clean up gently the contacts as they were extremely dirty, the copper had turned black. My window is now back to normal. Next step is to repeat the same job on the other switches, it's only a matter of time before they dye on me.
