Code 123 still appearing after thermostat and ECT sensor replacement? 850 1994

I doubt that it is a matter of air in the system, more likely would be a bad brand new temp sensor. Did you use a factory Volvo one? The factory ones are only so good and the aftermarket ones are a complete crap shoot as to whether they will work or not.
