need help dismantling dash 850 1993

I found small torx drivers with plastic handles at maybe Sears. I bashed the plastic handle with a large hammer till it came apart and fell off. I inserted the driver bit and used a small grip pliers to turn it via the end that had been in the plastic handle originally.
