Thank you Klaus for the tip about replacing fuel filter to cure ocassional idle drop, 63k on car, and I'm the 2nd owner, so I assume the original is still in there...my query now is getting the old one out..the manual says to use a 17mm wrench, but mentions also that it's held in with quick connect couplings?...So how does it come out...also, anybody got a good shade tree mechanic way to de-pressurize the fuel system w/o purchasing Volvo special tool 12345678? Would prefer not to get a face full of 93 octane....thanks to all for your help
