Hi, Thanks for the info! Did exactly what you said and the psi was betwen 40 and 45 so it has enough freon. I checked the A/C relay behind the glove box and that was gone - some of the plastic was actually melted. Plugged in the new relay but no go. Had a loud buzz when I turned the A/C on. Think the piece it plugs into is gone so I'll have to get one of those. Also noticed when the compressor was running that one of the little pipes that goes into the firewall was not cool. Hope this won't be a big problem. I'm checking it all out little by little in between work and other commitments. Sure is hot around here this week!!!!
