Hi All,
I have noticed that the vacuum elbow at the passenger side of the intake manifold is quite soft and collapses from the vacuum - so obliviously I will replace this.
I have picked up a vacuum elbow (part no. 9155862) as replacement. However, this is shaped in 90 deg. whereas it seems that the vacuum line routes from passenger side of intake manif. 180 deg. to join the PCV tube between the engine block and intake. Is it ok to "force" this extra bending on a vacuum tube or is that likely to cause it to collapse?
What does this vacuum connection actually do?
Thank you in advance
Nikolaj
