Some questions

We just got out email system back. The brickboard had not sent any for a while.

DO NOT shift the tranny while the car is rolling!!! That will break it, really fast. That only applies to when you are changing direction, forward or reverse of course. It is a cute American teenager trick to go backwards quickly, shift to D and give it gas. The rear wheels start to spin forward while the car is still moving backwards, generating a lot of tire smoke and noise. If you do that with an AW transmilssion, it will break.

So, before you shift it from D to R, or R to D, make sure the car is stopped.

You might want to check the level of the transmission fluid. Do it when everything is hot and the car in Park with the engine running.

Please answer your responses. We need to know if the advice is good or bad. The 164 has a new home, all I am left with are 2 turbos :)
