If turning the key a little makes it go away, then it is the electrical portion of the ignition switch. Relatively easy fix, if you can get all 4 or the torx screws out of the plastic steering colums surround. One Bricker bought a cheap torx driver and broke off the plastic handle, just to make a long torx driver for his drill.
This is a common problem for older 850s.

Please answer, we need to know if the advice is good or bad. The 164 has a new home, all I am left with are 2 turbos :)
