This is the best post I run into by chance, just got a quote to replace mi e-brake cables on the 98 V70 for $500 w/ new shoes (broken for some reason)... Anyway I got cables and hardware from a wrecked 99 V70 for peanuts, and will try this the coming weekend. Thanks
