Idle is sometimes high 850

maybe the idle air control valve sticks.

Or there is a bad connection to it. I think when this valve gets disconnected, the spring loaded plunger remains partly open, causing a high idle.

anyways, you can clean it with carburettor cleaner and reinstall it back. it cannot make things worse.
