Hi and thanks for all the great help you always give. I had the passenger side fender taken out by a trash truck while parked in '01. It's replacement job was just OK since one of the bolts (top rear, closest to the windshield) was stripped and over time there has been a horrible squeak and creak noise that it makes, and is particularly bad now. My questions are, does anyone have a part number for the bolt and clip part. Like most of the repairs, it's not hard after you've done it once and either broken a couple things or lost some screw down in the body somewhere. What is the general disassembly procedure? Can I take the fender partially off and pound a couple dings out? Does it have to come all the the way off to do that and if so, what are the tools and parts to re connect the rivets for the plastic wheel well? Also the fender/hood gap is off as well. any thoughts on that for me? Thanks again. It was a great summer driving season: smooth sailing from Cape May to Central Maine and points in between, with no speeding tickets (lesson learned), cold AC, and not the slightest thought of getting stuck on the road.
