Stumper indeed. I should have mentioned that I did, in fact, get the codes read by a dealer.

The transmission seems to get into the 4-5000 rpm range every time it shifts up, and it kicks down far too late.

I was a bit confused by the previous poster's mention of a speed sensor. Is this the same as a gear position sensor, or does it have something to do with the ABS system? Excuse my ignorance.
