Thanks. I'm thinking its not that. The upper mount is recent and looks good. Plus, I felt that thump at idle.

I just came back from a test drive and didn't notice the problem this time. I haven't figured out the connection yet. Both times this happened it was after a highway run in 95 degree weather, but since I've only experienced this twice I can't be sure there's a connection there.
