PCV HELP!!! 850

This may seem silly but after you cleaned up the entire system did some gunk get dislodged and move back thru the main hose to the flame trap to re-clog it? This actually happened to me - I had cleaned most parts though rather than replacing them. On cleaning I removed and did not reinstall flame trap and have had no further problem in 2 yr.
