Bob,
I tried loosening the float as you said but that did not seem to do the trick. I emptied the tank to see how he float actually moved and noticed it did move up as I started to put the coolant back in. However, it went up to a certain point and the fliud filled over top of it. Is the probe that is inserted under the tank a temperature probe or a level indicator. Maybe that is malfunctioning. I'm about ready to throw in the towel w/ this car. Any more suggestions? Thanks, John
