There is a microswitch inside of the door locking mechanism which is not replaceable. But you may have a broken wire in the top hinge.

To verify the lock, open the hatch. Use a screwdriver to close the latch. 2 clicks. If the light is still on with the door firmly latched, jiggle the wires in the hinge area.

Turn off the overhead light so your battery doesn't drain.
