It is the contact inside the switch box, which has rivits holding it together. Your best bet would be to replace it. Mine has the same problem, except it works when I am not sitting on the seat.
The large plastic surrounding the seat switches comes off by pulling up on the front and then pushing it backward. 3 torx screws hold the switch box to the seat. Plus a zip tie for the wire. Do not hit that large round thing, that is your SIPS.
