I replaced the front struts on my '98 S70 turbo with Bilstein tourings, and a week later during turns the right side strut creaks while turning. I opened the hood and looked at the struts and I noticed there is a gap between the "cap" and the "strut mount", see this diagram:

When I jack up the car the gap goes away since the spring un-compresses. Is this normal or did I forget the 3546520 washer? I looked under the car and it looks like there is a washer on the bump stop (maybe it is part of the bump stop and I need the second washer?)

Any suggestions/advice would be greatly appreciated!!
