I have been using ceramic pads which come in a Bosch package (don't know if they make 'em, distribute 'em, or what). My family members report and I sense too that the pedal effort is a little higher vs the old (OEM) pads, but no other issues. I guess the ceramics should last longer but we don't have enough experience to know. Performance is definitely not worse. Dust is minimal but I didn't think it was bad before.
