Actually, the 850 is the first of the new school Volvos. Verify that the AC is ice cold, and make sure it has maint history! Read the history before you buy it. Replacing the evaporator is like replacing the heater core in the 240s, not something to be done lightly.
Sure, at 120K miles, the front suspension requires replacement depending on driving styles - axles, engine mounts, ball joints, etc.
