The dreaded door panel delamination - no solution V70-XC70

That sounds logical, but the upholstery shops I checked said there was no repair possible. They can't stretch vinyl into the shape of the door panel, and the original piece shrinks and pulls away. The selection of material and adhesive was faulty, and Volvo NA have been real shits about acknowledging the defect.
