Catastrophe?

A rare happening, but it can happen. You didn't harm anything, just replace that hose.
When mine came off, it was after doing my oil separator box. I didn't tighten down the clamp enough on the intercooler hose at the throttle body. BANG and nothing but idle. Thank goodness I was only 2 miles from the house, and all down hill.
