I need to get my college student daughter a car. Her school is 4 hours from home so she can't have anything that I'll need to run out there to fix every few weeks.

I have my eye on a couple of 2001 S40's. Have not test driven either yet, maybe tomorrow.

Is this model like the other white motor models in terms of reliability and behavior?

Would you put your daughter in one?
